Dr I.S. Kapueja obtained a Doctoral degree in Education Management in 2015 from the University of Zululand. She currently serves as a senior lecturer and Acting HOD for the Department of Educational Foundations and Management at the Faculty of Education.  She is involved in research and supervises Masters and Doctoral students in Education Management.
