Dr Kehinde Clement Lawrence obtained his Doctoral degree in Counselling and Developmental Psychology in 2019 from the University of Ibadan, Nigeria. He is currently a postdoctoral research fellow in the  Department of Educational Psychology and Special Education at the Faculty of Education, University of Zululand.

He is currently conducting a research on psychological helpseeking attitude of psychologically disturbed adolscents, and has published several articles and book-chapters in accredited peer-reviwed journals in different areas of educational, counselling and behavioural psychology both within and outside South Africa. He is co-supervising masters and Ph.D research projects in area of educational psychology .
