Dr Pravina Pillay has a PhD in English Studies from the University of Zululand. She currently serves as a senior lecturer in English Language Education in the Department of Arts and Languages Education.

Research interests: 

She does research in English Education, Teaching and Learning in the Higher Education  Context, English Literary Theory and English Literature. She has published numerous articles in accredited journals in these research areas. She also supervises Masters and Doctoral projects in the Faculty of Education.
