Mr NH Ngwenya has a Masters degree in Science Education which he obtained at the University of Zululand in 2015. He is currently a lecturer in the Department of Mathematics, Science and Technology in the Faculty of Education. Mr Ngwenya teaches the methods of Physical Science and Methods of Natural Science.

His research interests are on pre service teachers Epistemological and Teaching beliefs,  Scientific reasoning, Inquiry teaching and on Argumentation and Explanation in Science Education. He supervises masters students in  the  above areas.
