Ms Siphelele Sanele Makhubu is a qualified Eduational Psychologist. She obtained her Masters Degree in Educational Psychology in 2012  from the University of Zulululnd. She has vast experience obtained both in private and public sector, where her focus was on the rehabilitation of youth delinquents using cognitive behaviour therapeutic methods.

She currently serves as a lectuer in the Department of Educational Psychology and Special Education in  the Faculty of Education. Apart from her lecturing position at the University, she also volunteers in a non-profit organisation (Empangeni Educational  and Assessment Center) focusing on providing career assessment as well as guidance and counselling for learners from underprevilidged schools around Amajuba and uMkhanyakude Districts .

M.Ed Psychology, Psychology Post Graduate certificate in Education

Research interests:

Miss Makhubu is currently studying towards her Doctral degree in Educational Pyschology. Her current research focus is on Emotional Intelligent being used as a life-skills program in prevention and management of bullying behaviour in schools .

Professional membership:

Registered Educational Psychologist.

Miss Makhubu has co-supervised research candidates at Masters level. She was also a co-author in the paper published in the department of Educational Psychology and Special Education.
