Born in KwaDlangezwa on the 15th January 1968, Went to Ongoye HP School and completed matric in 1987 at Ongoye High School. Started working at the UniZulu as a stack attendant in 1991, promoted to Library and Senior Library assistant. In 2006 appointed as a Reseacher in the IsiZulu Language and Development Centre housed at the Unizulu. In 2007 appointed as a Chief Exams Officer until 2014 when started working as a Senior Admin Officer in Certification Management.
Dr B. P. Nkwanyana obtained a Doctoral Degree in Educational Psychology and Special Education in 2019 from the University of Zululand. He currently serving as a lecturer for the Department of Educational Psychology and Special Education in the Faculty of Education. He has conducted research studies on cyber-bullying and voter education.
