Dr Busisiwe Ndawonde is employed as a Senior Lecturer in the Department of Mathematics, Science and Technology Education Faculty of Education, University of Zululand, currently Acting as a Head of Mathematics, Science and Technology Education.

D.Ed , M.Ed, PGCE, BSc (Hons), B.Sc, (University of Zululand) PGDip (Rhodes University)

Research interests: 

Dr Ndawonde’ s research focus is on Life Sciences and Natural Sciences Education with a specific focus of integrating Indigenous Knowledge Systems in Sciences Education.

Professional membership:

South African Research in Mathematics and Technology Education (SARMSTE) and is a registered professional scientist (Biological Sciences) with the South African Council for Natural Scientific Professions (SACNASP).
